Like The Waves

"Forever" You said, I said I never believed in forever. For I have never experienced, regardless my endeavors. It takes two to make forever, after all forever is made up of two words, like two souls sharing the same world. Which explains why I'm always in my "own lil world." I've been a lone soul, (soldier if I may.) Guarding my "own lil world." but along you came, with a presence that give me a feeling I can't tame. Being the lone, soul, soldier I am I stand my ground, and guarded my heart like it was a golden crown. Pushed you away, no matter how hard I try you always came back like the tide. Making me think that forever can be true, truth is forever for me can only be with you. Oh how blinded was I by the constant disappointment and betrayal of people and their unpredictable ways, I was too blind to see you stayed. Too caught up in my "own lil world." tried to push you away no matter how hard I try you always came back like the waves.
