Like it Never Happened
I want to let go To move on and cut ties Let my mind rest From this battle This unceasing test Cut, and cut I hack and slash Every day And there she remains Like a looming stone grave I want to kill Kill that love, Anger, And fear But there's nothing Nothing to see here And yet I attack And never relent And I kill myself slowly Giving no chance to repent Deeply I beg For it all to be over For the pain to be dead For some peace in my head So I can live on with a smile A front of contentment Like I don't really care Like it never even happened
