LIKE A TATTOO
It sticks, like a tattoo, shining bright, Habitual, yet distinct, we don't blend into the night. Like shadows, we walk by, fairly unnoticed, Only through close contact can our true selves be disclosed. Some experiences are bad, some good, Outrageous, some, insolent, as they should. Compelling others bring joy and delight, In my DNA, an inevitable, unrelenting fight. Implausible, they don't define or confine, Depicting life's tapestry, intricately divine. Let yours be yours, merely be aware, To transcend, some experiences are the pinnacle to share. In your life, like a shooting star, it can propel, High like Mikey Way, reaching for the unknown's bell.
