Like a bird
Sometimes, I feel trapped in my past. It has a hold on me. I just wanted to be set free from the drama—no more nightmares in my sleep. I just wanted to be free from the cage. You put me in. Free from the drama of my past. Reach to me further. To spread my wings and fly. To feel the Breeze on my face. So, I close my eyes to see my future. When I open my eyes, I take a deep breath. Hopefully, I can fly with the birds. I don't belong in the cage of my past because I am living for the future. I won't be your pet. Likewise, Not only that, I am a free spirit. We don't belong in a cage. We are free of the drama life put on us. As a Survivor, I can live a life without doubt and regard. There is always another storm that tries to push them down. Then, I related one thing. After the storm, there will be a rainbow. That rainbow signifies that I am free to fly high like a bird. A Survival Life will never stay down because the light in our eyes will dam the light. You, mate, turn the light out. But god will always keep the porch light on. So we can always find ourselves back. We will never stay trapped if we believe in ourselves. God will get us through the storm.
