Lights Grow Dim
In respectful manner of speaking, The lights all feel as if they are eating, Away at my heartstrings that beat, We know, we hope, I speak for those, Holding on, hoping that a song, Will bring them home, and as the streets grow dim, from the saddest light within, I miss the way, life used to bring me tears!
