Light of God

I wondered in darkness waiting to feel something.Then suddenly light, a spark took wing. The light of God that took my heart And filled it with love, a brand new start. I felt so alone but when in church I found a family, a love so pure A feeling so kind.That it changed my life, left me redefined. Made a decision and now I smile Bowing my head raising my hands Dear God I thank you for this pure light you have shown me,Filling my soul, with joy that won't fade. I take this new path with the faith you have given me, Leading me forward, to a brighter day. Leaving my heart and love in the light of your hands, Safe in your presence, my spirit stands. Amen❤️‍🩹
