Her lessons profound, her passion so true, A teacher of life, in all that she'd do. But shadows emerged, casting doubt on her light, Hidden secrets revealed, blurring wrong from right. A tangled web spun, with a student once near, A betrayal of trust, shattering what I held dear. The pedestal cracked, the illusion undone, The teacher I admired, from grace had come undone. Yet lessons are learned, in the hardest of ways, That idols have feet, made of clay. Now I see her flaws, as a part of the whole, A complex human being, with heart and soul. Though she stumbled and fell, from the heights she once stood, I'll remember her lessons, as best that I could.
