Light & Rain
Your eyes are stars that light my sky, With every look, I learn to fly, No need to ask the reason why. The river sings its gentle song, It pulls the wandering wind along, In nature’s arms, we all belong. Dreams begin with just one spark, A single step can leave a mark, Even the brightest light starts dark. I tried to cook and burned the pan, Then blamed it all on Uncle Dan, Now pizza’s part of my new plan. The sky was gray, the rain fell slow, You walked away—I watched you go, My heart forgot how love should grow. The sun will rise after the night, Darkness fades in morning light, Everything will be all right
