life's unfair
Life's a puzzle, pieces don't fit right One day's sunshine, next day's endless night We search for answers, but they're hard to find Left with questions, and a troubled mind We're told to work hard, to earn our place But fate can be cruel, and leave us in a dark space Injustice reigns, and fairness is rare Leaving us wondering, if anyone truly cares We see others succeed, while we struggle to stand Their paths seem easy, while ours is littered with sand We compare and contrast, and feel lost in the haze Wondering why life's unfair, in so many ways But still we rise, through the darkness and pain And find a way forward, through the driving rain We learn to adapt, to bend and to sway And find a way to make it, through another day Life may be unfair, but we can't give up the fight We must keep moving forward, and hold on to the light For in the darkness, there's still a glimmer of hope A chance to make a difference, and help life cope.
