Life's Marathon
Afraid of life, Afraid of people, Don't know whom should you trust, Even your own people betrayed you, But can you see hope in this dust? You saw no stones in the range of vision, But suddenly, something pricked your feet, You realised you got no shoes, Now tell me, was not your vision a cheat? Maybe, you have now realised the illusions, And will continue with more caution, But your feet say that they are very tired, So say, will you now walk with precaution? Or will you stop here and accept your defeat, Or, will you not walk but run and say to lord, It's not easy to beat me, I won't accept defeat, Whatever you do, remember my only word, That you are the sword and the warrior, Now say, will you stop and become inferior?
