Life Without God
I wake up each day, the sun still shines, But nothing feels right, nothing feels mine. The world keeps moving, but I just stay, Searching for meaning, wasting time away. I chase after things—money and fame, But they leave me empty, they’re all the same. The laughter fades, the joy feels fake, My weary soul starts to break. The stars at night, they seem so far, A million questions, but no bright star. Why am I here? What’s it all for? Life feels like a closed door. Love feels shallow, hope fades fast, Nothing I do ever seems to last. I try to fill the hole inside, But without Him,there’s no real guide. Yet even in this dark, quiet space, I feel a pull, a touch of grace. God is calling, He’s always near, Ready to wipe away each tear. Life without God is just a race, But with Him, I find my place. He brings the peace my heart has sought, With God, life’s meaning cannot be bought. @Althiena Poetry
