Life is unfair sometimes
The world spins round, a fickle dance, Where joy and sorrow take a chance. A cruel hand deals the cards we hold, Some gilded, some with stories told Of hardship, loss, and bitter sting, While others boast of fortune's wing. A fragile thread, a whispered sigh, The balance shifts, the reason why One soul finds solace, warm and bright, While another drowns in endless night. It's not a game of fair play, dear, This tapestry of life, so clear, With threads of pain and threads of grace, We weave our path, a fleeting space. So hold your head, though tears may fall, For even darkness has its call, To teach us strength, to make us wise, And find the beauty in our skies.
