Life Hurts, Life Heals
Ever since the moment life called my name It made me mad and drove me insane Some days never turn out right Some days turn out beautiful and bright Like a bird gliding through the air so light Or like I am standing on a precipice of light Life hurts life heals and I've learned that's the deal Like envy and happiness for snacks and meals And so I've learned nothing gold can stay I go through this lesson day by day The rhythmic beat of the heart won't last The memories of loved ones will be in the past But we all have this thing called hope It holds us and keeps us from drowning like a boat Life hurts life heals and that's just the way It will follow me for the rest of my days
