Life & Death Had A Conversatio
Setting: A twilight realm, a place where light and shadow intertwine. Life: (Smiling) Well, Death, another cycle nears its end. A beautiful, chaotic, and often painful one. Death: (A somber nod) Indeed, Life. A constant dance of creation and destruction. Life: You know, I often wonder why we're so afraid of you. Death: (A wry smile) Perhaps it's because I am the unknown, the great equalizer. Or perhaps it's the fear of the end. Life: Or perhaps it's the fear of the beginning. After all, every end is a new start. Death: (Intrigued) A philosopher, are we? Life: (Laughing) Just a dreamer. But seriously, without you, there would be no room for me. No contrast, no value. Death: (Quietly) And without you, I would be meaningless. A void. Life: So, we're partners, then? Death: (Nodding) A strange partnership, but a necessary one. A moment of silence passes between them. Life: Tell me, Death, what do you see when you take a soul? Death: (Thoughtful) I see potential. A new beginning, a chance to learn, to grow. Life: And what do I see? Death: Hope. The hope of a future, the hope of eternity. They share a knowing look. Life: Until next time, then. Death: Until next time.
