LIFE
too heavy to carry. The heart is bleeding… but what is it bleeding from? People say the heart is broken into pieces, but it doesn’t show. And even if it doesn’t show… does it have to? People cry at night— quietly… privately… so no one notices before morning comes. So you learn to console yourself at night, to let it all out when the world is asleep. Why does life have to be like that? Life is supposed to be beautiful… but even in that beauty, sadness is everywhere. People don’t notice. They want you to tell them first before they see it. Because if I laugh, I must be okay. If I smile, I must be fine. But if I don’t smile… there is a problem. So what do people really want? And I can’t keep giving everything people want— because it’s draining… it’s draining… So what more does life want from my life? Because I don’t know what else to give to this life.
