I wish I could write this under the dead tree Two people are laughing while looking at me Is this the end? They pretended nothing happened We’re having a dinner I’m glad they didn’t ask me why I look thinner But instead, they asked me, Why do my hair and nails look longer? They regret not bringing me to a barber "Are you gay?" asked her daughter I can’t give her an answer I saw my auntie laughing while hiding it behind my grandma’s back I didn’t pretend to be shocked After I take a piece of cake I get out of there and give them a feeling of fineness that is fake I go into my room and close the door So no one’s going to ask me, What am I crying for?
