Letting me know
Thank you for canceling Only three days before. I do appreciate The fact that you called. Because I've been in this position A few too many times, And I just want to loudly scream: "I've learned my lesson, alright?" I'm laying in my bed, My pillow over my head, And it keeps asking me: "Now what will you wear?" "Will you ask somebody else?" But what if they laugh at me? I don't even want their pity, Just some empathy. And they will also know That you have stood me up, Like he did and she did All those other nights. So thank you for letting me know And letting me down. For getting my hopes up Just to take them south. I wish you have a great time In that other place, But believe me— Its sign will have my freaking name.
