Letting go pt. 1
Duet - Letting go by Anny Bright " please tell me I meant something to you " The words escape from my mouth Words I wish I didn't say But I needed to know before I let go of what we use to have If what we had was meaningful to you or made you feel a certain way But you didn't answer And suddenly we were strangers again That goodbye was even more painful knowing we would never have a Hello again. Sometimes the heaviness of the dark that looms over me bears on my heart so much I sit there and stare with tears in my eyes but they won't drop I didn't need water or air to feel like I was drowning or suffocating in the emptiness I feel ever since you left " Why didn't you tell anyone " Concern in there voice " No one asked " I replied Everything I once loved became everything I lost in what feels like seconds I vowed to myself I'd never be that me again I didn't deserve that and you know it too bit you continued on digging me a deeper grave Silly me thinking you cared and actually loved me for whom I was Missing you makes me want to throw up from stupidity Throwing up from the fact you were always on my mind but I was never on yours You broke me like I was one of your filthy promises
