Let's Pretend

Once upon a weird time A woman asked hersefl Why do people pretend?? Is it because it makes surviving easier Is it because it helps us look less foolish Is it because people won't see us as a burden Or is it because that's the only thing that's right to do? Well I use to think these were true And so I kept pretending, pretending and pretending But honestly, I don't think pretending is easy It took so much of me that I sometimes forget I was alive I think if I could turn back time I would've choose differently I WOULD'VE CHOOSE DIFFERENTLY But I can't So I'll just live with it Live with it LIVE WITH IT.
