Let you go
Sometimes I wonder if you truly loved me If I was worth your time Those long nights we spoke and loved each other kept me going We sacrificed so much to hold onto something we weren't sure of I lied when I said I don't love you I only felt letting you go was best for you My big hopeful heart fought for us And I kept holding onto you I held you back from your inner self and that killed me inside To watch you crumbling I can't let you fall like I did My loss and pain were not yours Though you tried to take my heartache I knew it was best to part I wanted to take it all back but it was far too late You left and I cried a million tears I'm sorry I let you go.
