You are my blue. Blue like the sand when you walk on the beach at night because you're longing for something you can't have. Blue like the sky on a clear day in spite of your feelings of loneliness. Blue like the moon looking at you through the car window on your drive home, feeling melancholy. Blue like the water that makes you wish you could move as freely as it. When you aren't with me, I feel blue. When you aren't next to me, I feel alone. When we're not talking, I feel insecure. When you're busy, I feel left out. You are my yellow. Yellow like the sun rays that make you feel warm. Yellow like a bee buzzing past you that scares you a bit but makes you curious about it.
