Left Behind

In a world so cruel,I was most fortunate to meet a man like you.For you shared my pain,worries and strife. You shared hope joy and love that did not hide. You made me feel less behind in life. When I looked at my friends' life I felt incomplete. Sad to see what I have yet not reached. Oh but darling you made me see new sights. They may have a job already or a life oh so steady. A car to take them to places... For the greatness they so chases. They might have the life I thought I'd had. For my own journey I'm just as glad.I'll take it slow and steady. For my journey, I am ready. So thank you my love for letting me see. That I'm not left behind, just differently assigned. Merely on a diffrent course at sea
