Leave me, piece by piece
I am not brave enough to see you disappear from my life all at once. So leave me, piece by piece. Say no good mornings nor good nights, Tell no more tales about how your day was, How were you thinking about me when you saw those flowers , or, How were you longing for me when you were feeling low, or, How were you missing me when you saw those two love birds flying across the pink sky, For all I know is now maybe everything you said was a lie. I just want you to ask me if I am doing good just once in a while, And then lie to me about how busy you are in your own life, Where there's no existence of mine. And then go away from me completely, so my heart is at peace that it wasn't sudden, but happened little by little. So abandon me piece by piece.
