Learning How to Hide
I learned how to hide when I was young. Always forced out of a shell I never was quite able to create. I prefer silence, I prefer solitude. It's the only way I feel alive. Otherwise, I'm dying inside. These walls weren't built for nothing. They weren't built from nothing, either. I had to peel away the layers of myself and then tape them up so they made sense. The windows have all worn away and the door is always locked. Everything that's hidden inside is what I've created from my mind.
