Learn from a dog
Trotting onwards with excitement No thought of why I'm here, what to do, who to become Just happy to be here each day No thought about tomorrow, no regrets of yesterday Just living for each new sight, smell and sound I really can learn a lot from my dog About the type of zest for every day life I should have About the type of faith, and the way that life can be way much simpler We get excited for the shops in the city, he's just happy to smell stuff No thought about tomorrow, or worrying for the year ahead He doesn't need a branded jumper, or the latest flippy floppy phone He doesn't need the best holiday, or a sporty car He just needs the things God gave him, family and a home Everywhere he treads, becomes a memorable time and place Everyone he meets a friend for that time and space I really could learn a lot from my dog
