Layers of Velvet
Layers of velvet slide over the skin like a membrane that separates the inside from the outside. A gentle touch awakens a volcano of dormant emotions that spill out like lava. Pain is a thread that unravels like a ball of wool that unravels in the wind. Beauty is a reflection of a broken mirror that recomposes into fragments of light. In these layers of shadow and light, I am trapped in a labyrinth of reflections that transcends my emotions detached from myself.
