Lay your worries to rest
When tomorrow comes, we'll try again, With renewed hope and strength within, We'll pick up pieces and start anew, With a steadfast resolve to see it through. But tonight, let's lay our worries to rest, And let sleep soothe our troubled chest, Let dreams carry us to a peaceful place, Where we find solace and endless grace. For we cannot change what has been done, But we can gather the courage to carry on, And tomorrow, we'll rise with the sun, Ready to face the battles we've won. So let us close our eyes and drift away, To a world where troubles fade away, For when tomorrow comes, we'll try again, But tonight, I'll sleep soundly, my friend.
