lavender rain
I long for the smell of lavender and heavy summers rain Living in this city is driving me insane I gather lavender from outside the liquor store I guess that's what you'd call "city core" For the rain i wait While i swallow my pain Longing for something or someone to carry it away To hold the weight of the world Thats been put on my plate Oh how i crave the smell of lavender drenched in the warm summers rain Running down my face Dripping off my lips I swear i can envision the taste Clothing that grips to the curves of my hips Trickles down my waist Seeping in desperation and desire Holding me close and leaving me soping The aroma of lust lingers in the air Lavender I know that smell anywhere Powerful and pungent All consuming Leaving me submerged Yearning
