Laughter in shadows
In a garden of mirth, where joy blooms bright, A flower hides thorns, cloaked in light. With petals soft, it shares its grace, Yet roots entangle in a secret place. Beneath the sun, a masquerade thrives, Where envy’s whisper in silence derives. While storms may pass me, unscathed and free, Her heart's tempest brews, unseen by me. Still, I cradle this bloom, my dear friend, For familiar storms may just comprehend. In this delicate dance of light and shade, I choose the laughter, though shadows invade.
