Late night aches
I wish, I might, to tumble down these words of blight. Memories rummage behind my eyes, if only this heart of ice could crack for something soft, yielding in the night. I yearn for the burn of whiskey, the pull of hedonistic delight. The morning sun, hollow, tear stained eyes, forever tell of night time joy being its own demise.
