Last Time
I didn't know that last time would be the last time So I think about you all the time to pass time Because loving you was my favorite pasttime But now it's my convicting past crime After every tear I swear it's the last time But it's all over now, and that's fine And I'm empty now, that's my sign That I control nothing but my mind As I try to hold each memory that I find I look at her and I see a glimpse of us I look away and forget who to trust But I carry on and I do what I must To keep the love and forget the lust But my bones grow old and begin to rust But I stay silent So that I may never whine or fuss
