last day
It comes like quiet wind upon your day It takes us all, our dreams all swept away Dressed by kind hands, yet nothing can we say We lie in silence, cold and still as clay Your name is gone, a body on display Like worthless roots they bear you far away. Your shining worth has faded into grey For death has claimed and sealed your final day You dream of realms you hoped to see one day Of heaven bright or hell’s unending sway You wish to turn, to live another way But lifeless lips can only helpless stay They sing your praise though love had gone astray. Their tears feel false, like words they often say What use are flowers when hearts have walked away And left you lone before your final day so if you make heaven I Hope you see the hell I'm sorry it becon you now we all a sojourner here some day the bell will spell your name and spare you not to pear with his spear with not care . your last day your final breath.
