Landfill Mouth
A speech that knows no boundaries is a mouth that bites with ease. It feeds the burning appetite, breaks the stubborn bone with sharp canines and deliberate bites. The animal returns and snarls, with a foaming, hanging mouth. I know many mouths that eat enough— enough to get through the day— but you don’t know when to set your chainsaw bite. The night is absent from the day’s routine, and you burn yourself in your own consumption that knows no end. I feed you poison and expired bait, but the immunity of death runs as deep as the barren weeds that outlive all that dies.
