Lakes
It took us hours But more like in minutes It seemed It was worth waiting We had reached a city of lakes Well, it felt progressing As time was pacing I just don't think I can write it in words So ordinary and oppressed For lakes that we had captured With hills were they surrounded with the sun peacefully drowning, One was shining bright orange Mirroring clouds like shiny strings Another was just worthy Of all crowd it had gathered In broad daylight, It must have outshined the sun But will be incomplete Without someone by your side And must be worthless If you aren't having fun
