Labyrinth
Blaming and feeling hurt because the one they love has been spoken of in such a way, even though none of it would have happened had they not been the first to reveal another's flaws. They feel as if they are endlessly humiliated, yet it is they who so often confuse others with emotions that are never clear, coming and going like waves that never choose a shore to rest upon. They hope for understanding from others, yet they have not yet learned to manage or understand their own heart. So eager to be understood, without ever truly learning to know themselves. They seek peace from the outside, while chaos still nests within. Demanding honesty from others, yet afraid to face the truth within themselves. And so wounds are nurtured, confusion is crafted, and the desire to be loved persists. Yet, in a quiet corner of themselves, there is a fatigue never admitted, a fear never voiced.
