l felt invisible π
In a crowded room, I stand alone, A whisper lost, a muted tone, Faces pass, like shadows glide, Yet in their midst, I try to hide. The laughter rings, a distant chime, I reach for words, but lose my rhyme, A ghost among the vibrant throng, Where do I fit? Where do I belong? I wear a smile, a fragile mask, But deep inside, I dare not ask, For every glance that skips right by, Leaves echoes of a silent sigh. I watch the world through glassy eyes, As moments dance, and time just flies, A fleeting thought, a fleeting glance, Yet here I am, denied the chance. But in the quiet, I find my voice, In solitude, I make my choice, To weave my dreams in threads of light, To claim my space, to stand and fight. For though I felt invisible, A flicker stirs, a spark, a pull, In every heart, a story waits, And I will rise, I will create. So here I stand, no longer shy, With open arms, I touch the sky, For in this world, Iβll find my way, And let my spirit dance and sway.
