Kona Skate Park, Jacksonville
The reefs are up,and my humidifier is out I lay, sprawled on my floor About done with everyone I glance at my old skateboard Covered in my friend's tags and scratches The bearings are miraculously clean And it still has my semi-peeled stickers I run my fingertips along the ridges Let the grip tape wear at my skin And slowly roll along the ground, savory Looking for any feeling, any lost memory 2 Summers ago , I'd be covered in gashes And still on my board Kissing at the top of Big Brown Holding hands on the half pipe My pants riddled with holes and threads My hands rough yet medley You'd scream at me caringly I'd show you, and I did I dropped in on Gatorskin furiously Or,as the weedheads said, "Fuck-You" style But you'd push me and push me Even as I was weak in my blood And I'd slam and slam Kiss me on the cheek, push me again I'll look at your social media And block you again Not so you'll never find me, But so I can find you again It's kinda disappointing You're still as bad on your feet as ever Still look exactly like your dad Your music taste just sucks now You're no shoulder to lean on Who was I to think you could be? Too bad I moved away when I did Thank God you're 706.7 miles away, Cole Delay
