Kissing Shores
I was disturbed, Fed up with everything. I pleaded to God. I need something to my liking. I wondered why I have no one to hold my hand, The mangroves told me why, The banyan tree doesn't need support, So my Queen you stand alone. Why? The ocean told me why, Only the pure heart can control me, Tell me what to do, I won't deny. For you can tell me what you want The pearls and great treasures Will be beneath your feet. I realized I was not alone, Mother Nature is with me, Cradling me in her lap, Kissing my head lovingly.
