Kind of Girl.
She was the kind of girl to joke about the sadness. The one who could turn light out of madness. It was hard to see behind the walls she built. When all that was truly left was pain and guilt. She was the kind of girl to never cry. Unless she was alone and no one cared if she was fine. Her friends called her the sunlight. But her mind felt more like midnight. She was done being the girl who never won. Between her brain and family the horrors just begun. Still, she was the kind of girl to joke about the sadness. Even when her pain turned to madness.
