Kind Killer
The feeling of being numb arrives, My hurt and emotional pain thrive, Like a killer stabbing me within, It negates the slightest bit of glee I've seen. The fear of living with this pain, The inability to be sweetly sane, If only I could surrend my pride, This hurtful feeling I could never hide. Tired of it yet not wanting it gone, For if it fades too soon I'll be too lone, The feeling of being numb yet so alert, My self-preserved pain will always be a hurt.
