Kids behind bars
Across this heartless, unkind world, suffer the children all alone. No one to love, nowhere to go,- they end up fending on their own. Commit to steal from shops and cars, thrown into jail so young and small. Held in the darkness of their fears, with no defence- no one to call. The hardness of this prison life made worse, their young lives ceased. Yet no one came and no one cared for months on end without release. Abused and beaten by the guards; bundled together, all in one. With little food and little sleep; their fainred hope of freedom's gone. Their timid lives so broken down, caught in the rapture of their cries. For pain alone can not erase the hurt inside their eyes. Ronald Albert Davids
