KIDS
Just an instrument and music, Whispers in my ear, Slow and filled with sadness, As silent tears fall near. Old memories emerge, When sorrow fills my heart, And you may not know why These echoes tear apart. I'm still a girl, In need of a guide, Seeking understanding, With nowhere to hide. And you too are a girl, But tell me, why? Why do the shadows linger When the laughter says goodbye? All eyes will whisper, "Hey, she’s just a kid." So you’re not to blame, But what about my bid? What about me? My insecurities, My trauma, My feelings, My heart, Those darkness, My heart's quiet pleas. Am I wrong too? In this journey, I seek, To find my own voice, To be strong, not weak. But thanks to you, Brave and mature, Its appear without guide, It's just lesson you give. Until now those strong feelings appear when I needs it, Appear without I'm asking for it, Brave only things I have.
