KEN
Ken, what is really love? Or the thought of being loved by you, that excited me the most, Did I ever really love you? Or was it all just a lie I told myself. Ken, was it your eyes, that looked directly into me, Or was it your calm voice that just felt like home, Was it your welcoming presence? Was it the fact that we could spend time together without speaking, Or all the interesting topics you liked to talk about, Ken, was it the fact that you were so open to correction, In all aspects, was it the fact that I found you mysterious, Was it the fact that someone hurt you in the past, Was the hurt that deep that you never trusted anyone else, Was it the fact that I saw some of myself in who you became, Ken, was it the gentle cuddles that you gave me, Was it the fact that you called me baby, Was it the fact that it was so hard for you to laugh, Was it the fact that you were like no one else, Ken, I did love you, Even though you never felt it, Even though I had a selfish way of showing it, I loved everything about you, I never knew if it was just a facade, or a wall you put up, But I loved every part of you, pretenses and all, You were loved.
