keep me in the light

Keep me near keep me close Hide me under your wing yet Your light Wil shine true me For all the eyes to see I am the light of the world and the salt of thee earth Storms that came and winters blows Your words bring life The flowers grows The light of the body is the eye therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body Glows Lighted up my candle , Don't let me hide it in a secret place, Neither under a bushel But put me on a candlestick for those to see the light in me Shining bright my father lives in me Words of righteousness my peace Wil not be still until thy see it's brightness salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth
