Keep Going
The road ahead, a winding thread, With tangled knots of doubt and dread. The mountains loom, a daunting sight, And shadows cling with fading light. Your heart, a drum, beats loud and fast, A heavy ache, a whispered 'No.' The rain descends, a chilling kiss, And memories sting, of what you miss. You stumble, fall, and feel the sting, A broken dream, a silent thing. The world feels cold, a lonely place, And tears stream down your weary face. But deep within, a fragile bloom, A flicker stirs within the gloom. A whisper of a forgotten song, A sense of where you once belonged. Though sorrow weighs, and tears may fall, A tiny ember answers all. A memory of resilience bright, A burning hope within the night. So gather strength, though spirits wane, And let the tears wash off the pain. For even when the path is steep, And secrets lie in slumber deep, Within your soul, a fire resides, Where courage waits, and gently guides. So keep on going, though it's hard, And let your spirit leave its mark. For in the journey, you will see, The strength you hold, eternally. And in the rising of the sun, A new beginning has begun.
