Keep Going
It's all so heavy, must I really continue on? This life that they say will be worth it in the end. How much further must I drag myself along? There's not much more of myself that I can expend. Spiritually wounded, I cry alone. My voice, does it actually reach you? Do you not you see that I am prone? I pray for forgiveness, I beg for virtue. From on high, somewhere far away. I hear your voice, and I see your light. I close my eyes, and I begin to pray. I smile, and realize that in hindsight. The journey has been long, the destination still far. But for all that it's worth, you have always been my guiding star.
