Karma Keeps Calling
Wake me when you need me, I'll not be here if you come looking. So if you do come looking. Just keep on moving. Karma keeps calling. It's just not on for today. Try again tomorrow. Another chance for a good today. Hope is depleting. What's the point? I've burnt all of the fat from my soul. Skant leanings leave me famished and starving. Such suggestions leave me frozen. Scattered to the winds. A shadow in the light, fleeting and hollow. Chasing echoes of dreams long departed. Burdened by the weight of forgotten tomorrows. Each step a reminder of paths not taken. In silence, I linger, unseen, and unheard. Left to my devices. Alone and solo. You'll not find my soul. I have lost it to time's unremitting toll.
