Karma.
I've been so good I've been helpful and friendly Except with my food And now I'm feeling empty But I've been so good this year I settled a family feud not far from here I gave someone therapy though I need it more I forgave someone that hurt me to the core But the whole year's been disappointment I came here just to vent So forgive me Doc, for booking an appointment Right now I'm completely spent My mind is blank I'm out of ideas I feel like I'm walking the plank Into a sea of my worst fears So before I go confess Tell me why I'm in this mess Why you lied to give me hope Why I'm falling down this steep slope I've been so good but it's just getting harder I've been so good where the hell is the karma I refuse to shed another tear Because I've really been good this year.
