Just Your Smile
I don’t need stars up in the sky, When you are near, they all walk by. The sun feels warm, but not like you— Your smile can light my whole world too. You don’t say much, and that’s okay, Your eyes can speak more, anyway. When you’re around, time goes so slow, Like even clocks don’t want to go. I don’t need songs, I don’t need gold, Your hand in mine is all I hold. I don’t need big, sweet words to hear, Just know I smile when you are near. Love is not loud, it's soft and true, It lives in little things we do. So if you ever ask me why— I love you, and I don’t need to try.
