Just Wanted a True Friend...
Your eyes, sparkling, bright, Reflecting a deceptive light. I stood tall, then I'd crumble, Feeling lost, so small, so humble. Seeking solace in a friend, Someone who'd grasp and comprehend, That the darkness within, Wasn't my doing, but your wicked spin. "Just let me be!" I cried, But truth be told, you're by my side, In this illusion we both partake, A reality we cannot shake. In the past, simplicity found, Now complexity's all around, Yet, amid the chaos we transcend, Finding solace, just around the bend.
